The Hoost Project in Heist-aan-Zee is a striking 13-storey tower designed by Jakob + Macfarlane, blending bold architecture with functional community spaces. As part of this project, I advanced my skills in BIM Structural Modeling using Revit, tackling the complexities of a uniquely stacked structure developed by the engineering office.
My role involved transforming intricate SCIA schemes into precisely organized sheets for formwork and reinforcing plans. This was a challenging yet rewarding task, executed successfully within the planned timeframe thanks to close collaboration with my team. Additionally, I developed expertise in exporting quantities directly from Revit using dedicated tools, enhancing the project’s efficiency and future usability. Hoost was a transformative experience, combining technical innovation with architectural ambition.
