Cherry Street: Precision Modeling with LOD350 Standards
The Cherry Street project involved creating a comprehensive LOD350 Revit model, encompassing both architectural and structural elements. This required meticulous attention to detail, incorporating point cloud data, existing PDF plans, and Matterport scans to ensure accuracy.
The scope included the building envelope, stair towers with precise level naming, reception areas, balconies, roofs, and site elements like sidewalks and driveways. Key deliverables involved creating custom Revit families for doors, windows, and other components, adhering to the client’s specific requirements.
Special emphasis was placed on maintaining accurate wall joints along the exterior, capturing detailed features like canopies, fences, and lighting. Setting the project elevation to the reception entrance added an additional layer of precision. This project showcased advanced modeling techniques and highlighted the importance of precise family creation for efficient, client-focused BIM execution.
Cherry Street: Delivering Accuracy and Client-Centric Solutions
The Cherry Street project exemplified the power of precision and collaboration in creating a detailed LOD350 Revit model. By leveraging point cloud data, Matterport scans, and existing plans, we successfully modeled key architectural and structural elements, including the building envelope, stair towers, and balconies.
Focused on client requirements, we developed custom Revit families to ensure consistency and quality across the model. Attention to detail, such as aligning wall joints and integrating site-specific elements, ensured the final deliverable met the highest standards. This project reinforced the value of meticulous planning and client-focused execution in BIM modeling.
